Ginger Ground Beef (Soboro Donburi)
A quick and easy stir fry ground beef dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup frozen peas (or frozen peas and carrots mix)
- 1 cup rice, cooked
- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- ¼ water
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced (or ½ tsp powdered ginger)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions
In a large skillet combine ground beef, soy sauce, cup water and sugar. Cook over medium heat until beef is just browned, aout 8 minutes. Add fresh ginger and frozen peas; continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 5 more minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
