Frozen Cranberry Salad

A simple dessert that my grandmother used to serve on special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large can (20 oz) crushed pineapple
  • ½ cup pecans (chopped)
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 container (9 oz) Cool Whip

Directions

Combine sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. Stir in cranberry sauce. Drain the crushed pineapple and add it to the mixture. Add chopped pecans and Cool Whip. Fold together and place in a 13x9 freezable dish. Freeze overnight (or until firm). May be served on lettuce leaves. Serves approximately 15. Return leftovers to freezer (good for up to two weeks).
